Presented to Canada by British Government in 1910, restored and set up by Lieut.-Col. the Rev. P.M. O'Leary of Quebec 1910-1913, placed in its present position, and further restored under the direction of R.C. Wright, Chief Architect of Public Works of Canada, by C. Soucy, Sculptor and Alan Beddoe. The colophon on the reverse of the title page of this booklet reads:

Ottawa, F.A. Acland, Printer to the King's Most Excellent Majesty, 1926.

In his brief introduction, Doughty provided an overview of the history of the model from its creation, beginning with plans drawn by Lieut. J.B. Duberger in the Engineers Office, Quebec, in 1795 to its restoration completed in 1913 by Rev. P.M. O'Leary.

The booklet consists of: the introduction, "Model of Quebec" by A.G. Doughty, pp. 3-4; "Jean-Baptiste Duberger, Biographical Sketch", by P.M. O'Leary, pp. 5-9; "Guide to Quebec Model" identifying 49 landmarks/features, pp. 10-23; and a folded, tipped in reproduction of a coloured drawing of the City of Quebec, ca. 1880.

Wilson Collection contains a printed copy of Guide to the Model of Quebec which has a paper cover. The Wilson Collection copy was reviewed; select images are pictured above. A digital copy is not available.
